Another pic of the desecrated Temple. But who did it is a question for which we do not know the answer as yet.

Manipur recently saw BJP storm to power. CM N Biren Singh is considered a strong leader in the state and he was instrumental in getting the economic blockade of over 130 days lifted.

This state has nearly as much Hindu population as the Christians as per the Census 2011. There are 41.39 % Hindus and 41.29 % Christians in Manipur but in Senapati the Hindu population is a mere 9.15 % while the Christian population is a robust 89.08 %.

Out of the 9 districts in Manipur, 5 are dominated by the Christians while 4 are dominated by the Hindus. All these details are from Census 2011.

Manipur was earlier in the news on the issue of saree ban but it did not make headlines in the national media. North East is missing from national media all together which emboldens miscreants like those who vandalized the Temple.

Earlier, Kiren Rijiju had attacked Congress for saying that Arunachal Pradesh was being made a Hindu state. However, the data reveals a different story altogether!
