Actor Kamal Haasan replied Hindu Mahasabha leader’s open call for his murder after he said that Hindu terror exists in the country.
Haasan’s article on a Tamil magazine had claimed that “extremism has spread into the Hindu right-wing camp as well”.
“If we question them, they call us anti-nationals and want us jailed. Now since there is no space in jails they want to shoot us and kill us,” … but in democracy, everyone has the right to express,” Haasan told in a meeting of farmers in Chennai.
Referring to the statement made by Haasan, Akhil Bharatiya Hindu Mahasabha Vice President Ashok Sharma said people like Kamal Haasan should either be hanged or shot dead.
Sharma also alleged that people who make such statement against followers of Hinduism are trying to “push their own biased communal agenda”.
Reports say Kamal Haasan will announce the launch of his new political party on his birthday on November 7.
