As Prime Minister Narendra Modi reshuffled his Cabinet and inducted nine new faces, Union Railway Minister clearly hinted that he is being moved out of the Railway Ministry.
Prabhu tweeted to say goodbye to the Rail family.
Thanks to all 13 Lacs+ rail family for their support, love, goodwill.I will always cherish these memories with me.Wishing u all a great life

There had been speculation that Prabhu will lose the Railway Ministry ever since he met the Prime Minister and took full ‘moral responsibility’ for the recent train accidents. PM Narendra Modi had asked him to “wait” then.
Power minister Piyush Goyal, newly elevated to cabinet rank, was on Sunday given charge of the railway ministry.
Goyal replaces Suresh Prabhu who had offered to resign after a spate of train accidents in the last month.
Prabhu had faced flak after a spate of train accidents recently.
On August 19, 13 coaches of the Kalinga Utkal Express derailed in Khatauli, Uttar Pradesh, killing over 20 passengers and injuring over 150.
Four days later, at least 70 people were injured when the Kaifiyat Express derailed in Auraiya in the state.
