Pro Paki And Ex Militant Yasin Malik Arrested in Srinagar By NIA

A day after Yasin Malik announced the march to National Investigation Agency  (NIA) headquarters in New Delhi on September 9th, the Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) chief has been arrested from his Abi Guzar office and shifted to Central Jail in Srinagar. Furthermore, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has been detained and put under house arrest. While addressing the media, the JKLF chief said, ‘The arrest shows how the government has become a facilitator of the NIA.’ He also threatened the NIA and said that it will meet its fate. He reiterated that he has made up his mind about going to New Delhi and will do so with Hurriyat leaders, Yasin Malik and Syed Ali Shah Geelani.

Earlier on Wednesday, in a hurriedly organised meeting at historic Jamia Masjid in Srinagar, Yasin Malik, challenged India’s top probe agency and said, “Keep your doors open, we are coming.” The Hurriyat leaders said that they have already arranged for their tickets and will volunteer their arrest before NIA. “Keep doors of Tihar jail open, we are coming,” he said, adding “NIA has terrorised the whole Kashmiri nation”.

His outbreak followed a series of raids conducted by the NIA in Srinagar on Wednesday. as a part of their probe in the funding of terror and separatist activities in the Kashmir Valley.
