Actress Soha Ali Khan is expecting her first child with husband, actor Kunal Kemmu and celebrated her baby shower on Tuesday. Dressed in a gorgeous Kanjeevaram, Soha shared a picture of herself with Kunal on Instagram. But little did she know that she would have to endure the wrath of trolls for wearing a saree for the traditional ceremony. Folks, very obviously, invoked her religion and littered the post with unfiltered comments.

“Shame on you soha ali khan you r not a muslim (sic),” wrote one user while another told her off for not mentioning Eid in her post. “It’s eid and you’ve not mentioned it even once (sic).”
In fact, folks also expressed their aversion and wrote: “Dislike soha Ali khan. I swear she’s not a Muslim ! Can’t even say it’s Eid (sic).”
Hatred was unfurled all over the comments section but several fans also praised Soha’s attire and the elegant couple.
Well, might we assert, that expecting social media to be sensible is too much to ask for. Dangal’s Fatima Sana Shaikh was trolled few weeks back for posting a picture in a swimsuit during Ramadan – the holy month for Muslims. Priyanka Chopra, as well, was ruthlessly criticized for wearing a short dress during her meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
