UP CM Orders Police To investigate hoisting of Pak flag at house to celebrate release of Hafiz Saeed

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath directed police officials to investigate reports of celebrations and hoisting of Pakistan flags in Begum Bagh area following the release of terrorist Hafiz Saeed. The Chief Minister reacted very strongly over people celebrating on Friday in Lakhimpur Kheri District of Uttar Pradesh. While addressing a rally in the area, he directed the district administration to take very strict action against those who celebrated the release of a terrorist and have waived Pakistani flag. He further added that nothing is above national security and we will never compromise with it.

According to reports, tensions took place in the district on Friday morning after members of a community reportedly celebrated the release of Hafiz Saeed.
In strong words, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said,

“no compromise will be made on issues related to national security, sovereignty, and safety of the people. Those who hoisted Pakistani flag should be dealt with in a strict manner.”

According to reports, post the release of terrorist mastermind Hafiz Saeed, Pakistan flags had been hoisted on top of some houses in Begum Bagh locality to celebrate the release. No FIR was lodged in this connection as the flags had been removed after the objections and protests.

On November 24, Mumbai attack mastermind Hafiz Saeed was released from his house arrest. The JuD head was set free after the Pakistan government decided against detaining him further in any case. He was under detention since January this year.
These kinds of incidents not happening first time in UP, there was news of celebrations by some people from the particular community when Pakistan defeated India in a Cricket match. Yogi Adityanath government’s decision to deal with these traitors iron-handedly is a welcome step.
