I have my own way. But it was not possible to continue. The discourse has changed. It was not possible for me to head the govt, therefore, I resigned,” he said.

Within minutes after Nitish Kumar resigned as the chief minister Bihar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated the Janata Dal (United) leader for taking action against corruption. “The 125 crore citizens of India welcome the decision,” Modi tweeted.

Modi also said that it’s important to rise above political differences and fight against corruption together. Could this be the prime minister’s invitation to form the next government in Bihar with BJP?
