Komuravelli Mallanna Temple is a powerful and popular temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Mallanna is an incarnation of Lord Shiva. The main deity Mallanna raised with his consorts Kethamma & Medalamma. The 500-years old temple is situated in Indrakeeladri hill, Komuravelli village, Siddipet, Telangana. It is otherwise known as Komuravelli Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple. The prime fierce deity Lord Mallikarjuna Swami raised with his consorts’ goddess Kethamma, and Medalamma on both sides. It is situated 10 km from Warangal in a deep cave on a tiny hill. The renovated temple has many choultries which were built by the Department of Endowments. On the day of Maha Sivaratri, “Pedda Patnam” is celebrated and covers a heavy crowd. During Maha Shivratri, devotees mount here to worship the main deity. Jatara, the holiday season starts in Sankaranti, and lasts until Ugadi. Pilgrims come here to offer their prayers every Sunday, which is in between Sankaranti and Ugadi. Konda Pochamma Temple is another temple visited by Mallanna Temple pilgrims. Komuravelli Mallanna Katha narrates how Lord Mallanna married Medalamma after fulfilling the wishes of her siblings.
