BJP State unit chief Sushil Kumar Modi likely to be Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar.
Earlier, the Bihar unit of the BJP had said that it would offer unconditional support to the Nitish Kumar’s JD(U) in the State. “We are not in favour of mid-term elections in Bihar,” BJPs Sushil Kumar Modi said.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also took to Twitter to congratulate Nitish Kumar on ‘joining the fight against corruption.’
“Congratulations to Nitish Kumar on joining the fight against corruption. 125 crore citizens welcome and support his honest move”, PM Modi said.
He added: “It is the need of the hour to rise above political differences and come together to fight against corruption for the development of the country, especially in Bihar.”
Nitish Kumar took to the social networking site to thank Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his support.
